Are you a small business owner that is doing the same thing week to week and getting the same results? I recently met a woman who made this comment to me and said that she just didn’t know how to get out of this rut. If you’re stuck and don’t see a light at the end of the tunnel, you need to read this.

  1. Shake up your routine by meeting a friend for lunch. If you own a home-based business you are probably spending too much time surrounded by the same four walls. Put on your power suit and get out of the house for the afternoon.
  2. Take an exercise class at the community centre.  Exercise is a great way to relieve some stress.
  3. Practice 10 minutes of meditation daily. Any form of meditation, tai chi, martial arts or yoga will increase your focus and you will get tasks done faster.
  4. Reduce your caffeine intake. Caffeine is a stimulant and too much of it can lead to depression and moodiness.
  5. Pick up a good book. When you’re stuck it’s a good idea to look to experts in the areas where you may be struggling. There are lots of great business books to choose from.
